11 Plus - Summer Camp
ITTRP is a pioneer in Summer Camp for 11 Plus. It is one of the most successful intensive courses for 11 Plus in the town. This summer camp for 11 Plus caters to both type of students. The students who wish to have classroom sessions and the students who wish to study online.
The summer camp is useful for the students who wish to revise their preparation in last one month and also for the students who started their preparation late and wish to cover the entire syllabus.
Subjects: Our summer camp for Year 5 – 11 Plus covers – Maths, English grammar, Reading Comprehension & Creative Writing, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Each subject is divided into concept books topic wise.
Results: 100% of our summer camp students who were also a part of our regular course have been admitted to the school of their choice.
Vocabulary building: Vocabulary is the important part of English section of 11 Plus curriculum, and thus ITTRP have created a special program to build vocabulary for 11 Plus students as a part of their course with us.
Speed maths: ITTRP understands the need of the time bound competitive exams such as 11 Plus and thus emphasises more on speed calculation techniques.
Tests: We give an access of 120 topic tests and 70 section tests to practice online. This is beyond the 5 full length Mock Exams during August. Each full-length Exam is followed by teacher’s analysis and detailed feedback. We practice both GL and CEM pattern of the exams. All these exams are complementary to our regular students for 11 Plus. We also conduct simulation test workshop for all the students where our teacher takes the test and does the commentary to the students about his thoughts and actions. This is to exhibit exam taking strategy in all aspects – how to select question, how to prioritise section, how to manage time and how to improve accuracy.
Books: For Summer Camp of Year 5 -11 Plus, students will receive concept and exercises books for all the topics we teach. These are different books than our regular course book as the course expects last minute preparation. All these books are complementary to our summer camp students for 11 Plus.
Teaching Sessions: The summer Camp for Year 5 -11 Plus has more than 70 teaching sessions in both formats. Classroom students will have these teaching sessions three days a week, test for one day and analysis with feedback on one day. This is to reduce multiple visits to the centre during the pandemic situation. The students from this group will take their paper pencil Mock exam on Friday at the centre. Online students will have teaching sessions for 5 days, they can take test during the set days of the same week and join analysis session with classroom students online.
Parent support: We conduct parent teacher meetings with a schedule and as per the requests. We provide all the support in terms of information on grammar schools, selection and format of the exams with registration dates.
Classroom size: Our classroom group is not more than 12 students. This helps a teacher to interact every student personally.
Teachers:ITTRP teachers are very experienced and subject matter expert. They are well versed with11 Plus curriculum, it’s challenges, students’ needs and engaging teaching style. Cumulatively our teachers have more than 40 years of teaching experience
