Creative Writing course by ITTRP is an intensive course which unfolds the details of most of the creative writing formats. It explains the thoughts, formats and plan behind each type of creative writing and makes you understand what is expected out of them.

The course address two types of questions

1. The `Don’ts` of Creative Writing

• Are you reading other writing?
• Are you plagiarizing your writing?
• Are you using big words and complicated flowery prose?
• Are you copying someone else’s writing voice?
• Are you using too many adjectives and adverbs?

2. The `Do’s` of Creative Writing

• Structure your thoughts.
• Write as much as you can.
• Try to make your openings as compelling and grabbing as possible.
• Hunt for new writing methods, processes and advice.

We will be examining this thriving genre: what it is; who it’s aimed at; who it’s read by; how it works and how it’s written. The course is particularly aimed at those appearing for 11 Plus exams and will be facing the task of creative writing as a part of their examination.

Among other things, we will be looking at themes, writing techniques and boundaries of young students. The course covers various concepts and assignments and teacher contributes her thoughts on your writing style.
